Metoxide hit the Vanuatu music scene as a solo artist at Fest’Napuan 2015. Metoxide’s carefully crafted lyrics, flawlessly executed in Bislama and English are what set him apart from the traditional reggae/dancehall musicians many are familiar with. Over the last few years Metoxide has opened for Anthony B and has featured with many popular local artists including Stan Antas, Jay P Nalei, Krasrut Star, Smol Fyah, and Nawarake. Metoxide's debut album, Reggae Agency was released in 2017 famous for Mas Kirap and Fulap Rod. Mas Kirap is featured in the national curriculum for year six promoting positivity and resilience. He has released numerous singles: Leave I Alone, Matnakara, Wan Gudfala Laef, and Mi No Save. Currently working on new music.
